THREE FACES OF BATMAN webinar via NY Adventure Club!

BATMAN, the most popular superhero in the world (despite not being ‘super’), debuted in the month of May, 1939—and since then, there have been so many different, yet equally loved, iterations of the character over its 85 year history. This is the story of Batman, told through the lens of three different media: comics, animation, and television:

The Batman TV series (1966-8), Hall of Fame comic book artist Neal Adams’ legendary Batman run (1968-74), and Warner Bros.’ groundbreaking Batman: The Animated Series (1992-5)!

Join New York Adventure Club and comic book-style illustrator and pop culture historian Arlen Schumer (The Silver Age of Comic Book Art) as we celebrate, analyze, and enjoy 3 of the greatest versions of the Dark Knight via still images, film clips, and Schumer’s usual trenchant and witty commentary!
